If you’re an influencer or small business owner, a PO box may be the perfect solution for your mailing needs. It’s easy to rent, available everywhere you can find a post office, and offers privacy and convenience. Plus, it can help you avoid porch pirates and other mail theft issues. But how does it work, and what are the benefits? Read on to find out!

What is a po box vs address?
A PO Box is a container set inside of a post office where you will receive all of your postal mail. It’s used either because the Post Office doesn’t deliver to your street or you prefer the dependability and privacy of a PO Box. You can pick up your mail any time the post office is open. Your mail will be conserved and kept safely at the post office, decreasing the chances of it being lost or stolen. You can also use your PO Box as a business address, providing you with more stability and security than a regular street address.
The most important thing to remember when using a PO Box is that the P.O Box number must be listed in address line 1, above the city, state and zip code. If you have a personal PO Box, then your name should be listed in address line 2. For business boxes, the company name should be written in place of your name.
It’s also important to note that some types of mail, such as lawsuit summons and court documents, cannot be delivered to PO Boxes. If you’re unsure whether or not a PO Box is right for you, contact your local Post Office to ask about their policies.
